06. Magnetic attraction

We often assume magnetism belongs only to metal, yet it operates at deeper levels of life too—at the atomic, subatomic, and even psychological levels of experience. In this sense, our inner state of consciousness, (thoughts and emotions,) act like magnets, drawing certain people, circumstances, and outcomes toward us through attraction and repulsion.

This is why both sayings can seem true at once: opposites attract, and birds of a feather flock together. What we are tends to call forth what matches us, but it may also draw to us what is present in the opposing polarity of our nature. The Universe uses both patterns to reveal something important: what is hidden within us. It shows us what is possible. Sometimes we meet in others the very qualities we have not yet recognised in ourselves—our potential, our gifts, our credibility. Others may reveal through a quantity of the same messages or meetings what we can become, or what we have not yet dared to believe is a possibility.
Aspiration matters, but destiny has a way of making us step up and so will eclipse that which is fancifully dreamt about to escape reality. That is why self-awareness is essential. When we understand this law, we can begin to identify the hidden programs operating within us—those beliefs and desires that shape our destiny and behaviours that quietly shape our lives.

So live, give, love, and govern your mind. Do not underestimate your power. The Universal Consciousness—God, Goddess, or whatever name feels true to you—flows through you and lives within you. In that sense, you are a Master Creator.

A useful reminder is this: if reality feels warped, it is often because we are unconsciously reinforcing a distorted inner story. But we also have the power to choose differently. We each experience reality through our own lens. The question is not simply what is real to you, but what reality are you choosing to cultivate about yourself?

Harmonise your inner conflicts and rewrite disruptive programs.

Power prompts: Reality warping is effectively gaslighting yourself, except you are in control. We all experience reality differently. What reality do you desire. Action it = act on it = be it. Be it to create it! That is how reality works.

Notice what the Universe reveals through others, for they reflect the potential of who you can become.

What reality are you choosing to create? Bring your thoughts, emotions, and actions into alignment with the life you wish to embody. Remember that changing your perspective can change your experience—but let your vision be grounded in discernment, responsibility, and practical action.
