67. PROJECTIONS - BRINGING THE DARKNESS INTO THE LIGHT.
Spiritual development: energetic awareness and understanding the intricate interconnectedness of everything at play is a mind-blowing experience to observe unfold.

Projections are fascinating to understand, because straightaway they stop the blame and judgement game. Psychology suggests that when we notice disagreeable traits in others, we are seeing unrecognised, unconscious, unresolved, or rejected parts of ourselves reflected back to us through other people, as if a mirror held up by the outside world. Metaphysicians refer to these phenomena as the Universal mirror. This is an example of the Universal law of correspondence in action. This shows us indirectly what we can become and what we need to become conscious of, bringing us back to the light and wholeness.

Disturbing revelation
It is understandable that this can be a somewhat disturbing revelation and offensive premise, but it is merely the nature of consciousness and interconnectedness that expands our own personal understanding that we are all, "everything!"

How we project
People may be driven to avoid acknowledging their own unacceptable feelings or impulses by attributing their unconscious discomfort to another person. This projection permits one to tackle a difficult trait without actually having to recognise within themselves and so can remain in denial that they have it within.
It is "The Universe's" way of bringing the darkness into the light, to heal that which humanity is in denial over so we may enhance safeguarding expectations for the vulnerable and moral and ethical obligations in matters of equality in ourselves and within our world's leaders.

Reflecting to us where we lack self-belief
Projections also work to show us where we lack self-belief by showing us in others what we can actualise. Role modelling. For instance, this premise works by manifesting in the external world of form repeatedly that which we can become. For example, during a particular phase in life, before reaching your full potential, you may become surrounded by people of a certain profession. This is the Universe's way of saying, "this profession can be yours too, and you have it within to actualise."
