The Power of Trusting Your Journey
You are being called to place your trust in your journey, even in moments when events do not appear to make logical sense. A key part of awakening is the realisation that your mind is not your true self. Rather, the mind is a tool—one you can observe and use. By watching the mind's antics and refusing to take them too seriously, you can connect with your authentic self. Sometimes, this might even lead you to laugh at the mind's behaviour, recognising that the true you is the observer, not the performer.
There is no need to worry about splitting your personality by adopting this perspective. Instead, you are simply reducing the ego's power and its grip over your life. With careful observation, you will notice how the mind constantly stays busy: it habitually projects itself into the future, creating worries, or drifts back into the past, stirring up shame, regret, or fear. The mind can also become self-critical or direct blame towards others. By minimising the mind's influence, you allow your true self to shine. In this way, the mind becomes an asset and a supportive tool, rather than something that is used against you.
For many people, the mind is so unruly that it becomes the boss. Remember, you are in charge—the mind is your tool. Choose to act from inspiration and your higher self, rather than reacting from the ego.
