7. NEGATIVE INFLUENCE /UNCONSCIOUS BIAS / AND THE NO CARD
It is imperative that no one experience discrimination stemming from unconscious biases. When powerful people hold these biases, it becomes dangerous because their actions have serious real-world effects.
Unconscious bias can manifest in various ways; therefore, recognising its presence across different contexts is crucial. Proactively addressing unconscious bias is necessary to prevent its persistence. Unconscious bias, just like misandry and misogyny, at its root is prejudice and discrimination, and these issues, particularly misandry and misogyny, are escalating into a significant challenge within modern society, a situation that is becoming increasingly accepted and normalised.
